A happy ending; but not like that- Thai Yoga Massage

This week I managed to see the wonderful Sarah Stacey for a Thai Yoga massage. Whilst Pilates helps to improve flexibility, I am always looking for new ways to increase this. So I thought I’d give this a go.

The room was instantly calming with the most relaxing music, _mg_1850candles and crystals all set up. Once I was lying down and the massage started my body started melting into the floor. Unlike a normal massage, there was movement of the joints. as well as the normal pressure. I started drifting away as my body was manipulated in ways I had never experienced previously. Before I knew it the experience was over, even though it was an hour and a half long.

After, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace as well as an incredible freedom of movement. My hamstrings and hip flexors are problem areas for me, but Sarah has managed to create a new level of mobility which is no doubt going to help my Pilates practice. I love discovering ways of accompanying Pilates to improve my body and Thai Yoga massage is definitely one I’ll be adding to the list.

At the moment Sarah is offering massages at Cornerstone Therapies, Godalming, every Thursday on a donation basis so get in quick before these return to full price. You can get in touch with her on sarahstaceymakeupartist@gmail.com.
