My Pilates and Yoga classes in Brighton are designed to challenge people safely. We work at a variety of levels in most exercises, meaning they are suitable for all ages and abilities. I hope to be able to help you apply what you do in class to your everyday life, therefore gaining long term benefits from your practise. Pilates for Yogis
Using Pilates exercises to help create space for Prana (energy) to move whilst working the chakras, and incorporating elements from Yoga including Pranayama (breath), Mudras (hand gestures), Mantras (chants), Meditation and more.
Everybody including those that do Yoga can benefit massively from the exercises that Pilates uses. The focus on what is called the ‘Powerhouse’ or core, gives a perfect foundation for every form of exercise including the Yoga Asanas.
Everybody can also benefit from Yogic practises to help bring balance to mind, body and soul, meaning that Kundalates is a truly holistic experience.
Every Monday, 7.30pm- 9.00pm (please arrive 5-10 mins early if possible) at The Loft, above Little Dippers, 42 Upper Gardner Street in the North Laines.
£12 with card payments also accepted.
Mats are provided, but if you have your own you are welcome to use them. Please wear appropriate clothing (eg shorts, jogging bottoms etc). If you have any injuries or problems please message me to discuss these beforehand; we can work with most ‘issues’ so don’t be scared to try it out.
