One of the great things about Pilates is how accessible it is. You don’t need expensive equipment and it can even be performed with none! This means you really can do it any time and in any place. This quick seated Pilates workout proves just that. You can do it if you’re sat in the office, in front of the television, or on public transport. The list of possibilities is endless. Use it as an idea of exercises you can do to keep yourself active when your sat down. Even taking 5 minutes out of your day is going to do you so much better than none.
In the video you will gain mobility in the shoulders, spine and hips, whilst working the muscles in those areas including the centre. Please be aware that the exercises performed in minutes 4-6 are not suitable for those with osteoporosis, osteopenia or other spinal flexion issues. If in any doubt please consult your GP.
I hope the video gives you an idea of how you can easily get more Pilates in your life. Let me know where you manage to perform the workout! If you’d like to do some other exercises then head over to the videos page.
